Add to calendar
Overview
Heat pumps are a cornerstone technology for achieving secure, affordable and sustainable heating. Already among the world’s most common heating technologies, they are expected to play an increasingly important role in shaping future energy demand for heating as the world enters into the Age of Electricity.
In this webinar, IEA heat pump experts will present on recent trends in heat pump deployment and technology, drawing from the recent Heat Pump Monitor 2026 and Heat Pump Taxonomy reports.
The Heat Pump Monitor is the first publication that consolidates all IEA analysis on heat pumps in one place, featuring analysis across global and regional trends on markets, technology innovation and policy, as well as examining implications of the uptake of heat pumps for energy security, affordability, and industrial competitiveness.
Additionally, the webinar invites a panel of policymakers, industry leaders, and other heat pump experts to reflect on the role of heat pumps in strengthening energy security and how recent developments could shape the outlook for heat pump markets.
