IEA Mission to Russia

IEA Executive Director Nobuo Tanaka led a team of IEA staff on a mission to Moscow from 26-28 October. Mr. Tanaka gave presentations at International Energy Week and also at the International Oil Conference, at the invitation of the Russian government. He also met with Russian Minister of Energy, Mr. Sergei Shmatko, to discuss the growing areas of IEA-Russia cooperation. Among other activities, the IEA co-hosted a workshop on energy efficiency with the Russian Ministry of Energy and took part in the International Cement Forum.Presentation by Julius Walker at the International Oil Conference..
